DECREASED HID BULB LIFE 1. Oil/Moisture HID Bulbs that have had contact with oil/moisture from human contact will cause burnage. 2. Constant Usage Most HID Bulbs have a usage life of 2500-3000 hours. The longevity is decreased when used for long periods at a time (ie. 10-15 hours continuous use). 3. Improper Ballast System Alumina HID Bulbs are engineered to performance at maximum levels with HID Ballast Systems only. Using alternate products with Alumina will affect the overall life of the system.
